Named for the Stone
The molcajete is a volcanic stone mortar used in Mexican kitchens for generations. We named this place after it because it means something: food made the traditional way, from scratch, every day.
The Dishes People Come Back For
The birria tacos are slow-cooked and deeply spiced, served with a consommé guests keep coming back for. The lamb, fajitas, and seafood are all done the same way — right.
A Room for the Whole Family
Colorful patchwork tablecloths, warm wood-paneled walls, and enough space for the whole group. Families come on Tuesdays; friends linger on Saturday nights.
